CO-creation and evaluation of food environments to Advance Community Health (COACH)

IntroductionFood environments are a key determinant of food intake and diet-related health. This paper describes the development an iterative, adaptive, context-specific framework for health-enabling embedded in co-creation theory.MethodsA three stage multi-method co-production prototyping public health interventions was followed iterative manner during framework. These stages were: 1) evidence review including systematic review, consultation with experts observation current work; 2) co-design prototype multiple stakeholders; 3) through refinement stakeholder workshops, expert reviews incorporation researcher notes workshop evaluation. We use term ‘prototype’ phase, ‘framework’ to report on final product.Results‘CO-creation evaluation Advance Community Health (COACH)’ is process that what best practice application retail should involve. COACH consists 10 interdependent factors within four-phase continuous quality improvement cycle. The four phases cycle ‘engagement governance establishment’, ‘communication policy alignment’, ‘co-design implementation’, ‘monitoring evaluation’.ConclusionsUtilising theory represents innovative step research improve healthiness environments. provides specific, unique, comprehensive guide utilization practice.
